Green Street House

This three bedroom 1970's cottage with no street appeal and only tip-toe views of the sea required additional bedrooms to accommodate a growing family. My clients had been working on designs for some time, but the imminent arrival of twins required them to fast track the process. The idea of a Living area upstairs was suddenly impractical and street appeal was less of a priority.

A double story extension to the rear of the property now allows the existing living area to remain intact, while providing four large bedrooms and wonderful sea views from the parent's retreat and balcony upstairs.

The construction was completed in 2017.

'Ingrid listened clearly to our brief and swiftly designed the renovation and extension we sought; transforming a pokey beach cottage into a beautiful, light and open, family home. Her eye for detail and design flair speak volumes; complemented by the sense of perspective, symmetry and proportion she applies to her work'. Lucy Mckay
